Angela is the General Manager of Tasmanian Leaders, having completed their signature program in 2009. She has proven leadership skills, with an ability to manage significant professional development programs, coordinate major events, deliver change and transition projects, and direct multidisciplinary teams.
Prior to working in leadership development Angela forged a successful career in arts as an administrator, event manager, theatre director and community cultural developer. Her career highlight in the arts was establishing the Junction Arts Festival after completing a Churchill Fellowship researching performance event for social change in 2007. In 2011 she was awarded the Northern Young Professional of the Year, through the Launceston Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.
Transitioning from an arts background to leadership has involved a number of significant professional development opportunities. Most recently, in 2017, she undertook the Harvard Kennedy School’s Art and Practice of Adaptive Leadership.
