Calling All Volunteers

28 November 2016 News

Ten Days on the Island is back, and we have a great festival in the works for 2017, with shows across Tasmania, from Port Arthur to Flinders Island. Ancient Chinese fairy tales, contemplative rock balancing in national parks, works of monumental art blending into the landscape, or a brooding one-man musical bringing The Bacchae to life — Festival 2017 reaches far and wide!

So, it’s time to get involved! There will be volunteering opportunities across the state, ranging from usher to runner; from flyer distributor to renovator. There’s something for everyone, with the chance to work in wild locations with amazing artists. So, whether you’re a people-person or a jack-of-all-trades, we would love to hear from you.

The Festival officially runs from March 17th to March 26th, but there is heaps to do outside of those dates.  So, if you’re interested, let us know when you are available between February 15, 2017 and March 31, 2017, and whereabouts in the state you’re best placed to volunteer. After that we’ll get back to you with some more details and suggestions on what type of role you might like.

So write us on, or give us a call on 03 6210 5700 or sign up right now online here.

We hope to hear from you soon!
