Emma Peel

Emma Peel is a festival manager and arts administrator based in Hobart, Tasmania. She holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts and International Studies from Macquarie University and has over 10 years’ experience in the fields of dance, theatre, visual arts, music and festivals.
Originally from Sydney, Emma cut her teeth as Administrator for Darlinghurst Theatre Company whilst freelancing for a variety of commercial and not-for-profit organisations including; Underbelly Arts, Performance Space, Carriage Works, Sydney Festival, Apple Music, Barangaroo, Sydney Fringe Festival, Paramatta Council and Sydney City Council.
In 2014 she embarked on a tree change to Hobart and began working in festivals across the state. Key roles have included Staffing and Operations Manager for Dark Mofo, Staffing Coordinator for Falls Festival, Production Coordinator for Mona Foma, Operations Manager for Salamanca Moves and Precinct Manager for Festival of Voices.
Emma has a strong interest and focus on arts accessibility, creative engagement and inclusive arts practices.
