Laura Jones is a cultural partnerships and development professional originally from Melbourne. She holds a Master of Arts and Cultural Management from the University of Melbourne hand has extensive experience in the visual arts, festival and corporate sectors.
She started her career in marketing, developing and activating client partnerships with the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, National Gallery of Victoria exhibitions and other major events. In 2016 she was invited to New York City to undertake an internship with the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum, gaining a unique insight into international approaches to corporate development.
She most recently spent three years in the National Gallery of Victoria’s corporate partnerships team fundraising for diverse international exhibitions and events, working with artists and brands including KAWS, the House of Dior, nendo and Cai Guo-Qiang.
