CHRISTIAN STORAN
HEAD OF PRODUCTION
Christian started at Ten Days on the Island in 2018 as Technical Manager, overseeing production for some of the Festival’s most ambitious and memorable works, including In Pursuit of Venus at the APPM Building and the Opera in the Vineyard concert at Clover Hill. In 2021 he was back as Head of Production, charged with drawing together all the technical and operational requirements of a statewide festival. He brings more than 25 years of audiovisual and technical production experience across live music, corporate events, theatre, television, public art and sports.
Christian’s start was as a musician before moving into live sound around Melbourne, then into the broader live events and audiovisual sector. Along the way he picked up time as an ENG operator for television news and commercial edit. Christian has held production roles at Alive Technologies, Southern Cross Television, Burnie Arts and Function Centre, paranaple Arts Centre, VJAM Tasmania, Staging Connections and the University of Tasmania.
He is the person you want around when things get complicated and the schedule gets tight. Which it always does.
