Michelle is a curator and fine-art photographer whose personal practice includes time-based media, performance art, soundwork, assemblage and sculpture. Michelle is the current Mayor of the Derwent Valley, an ordinary board member of Destination Southern Tasmania, and the Chair of Colossal Bioscience’s Tasmanian Thylacine Advisory Committee, a committee which ensures that Tasmanian voices are represented within this global deextinction and conservation juggernaut. With a passion for storytelling and pride in place, Michelle thrives when networking communities and stakeholders, always seeking to deliver informed outcomes that enrich and inspire.
