Stephanie Finn
HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS AND EXECUTIVE SERVICES
Steph came to Ten Days on the Island the long way round. She first encountered the festival as a visitor in 2005, then returned as an arts worker on a theatre production in 2009. By 2019, she was part of the team.
Before Ten Days, Steph worked in production and community arts across the country: producing community and cultural development projects with Big hART in Tasmania, and working in production at Summer Hill Films, Utopia Films, and Ross Matthews Productions in Sydney.
It’s that mix of creative producing and community connection that shapes everything she does at Ten Days: managing partnerships and philanthropy, looking after the organisation’s key stakeholders, and supporting the CEO, Board, and festival team.
What drives her is the impact arts and festivals have on communities, particularly in regional places like Tasmania. She’s most looking forward to showcasing Tasmanian artists in 2027 and sharing their work with partners across the state.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Steph on a trail at Cradle Mountain, fledgling birder binoculars in hand, or on a dance floor somewhere refusing to let disco die.
